CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

KIOC COACH EDUCATION CENTRE
Effective Date: 1 September 2026

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to courses, programmes, workshops, assessments, and other services purchased or booked through KIOC Coach Education Centre.

1. Limited Seat Courses

KIOC Coach Education Centre conducts courses with limited seats.

Once a candidate completes registration and payment, the seat is reserved for that candidate and is removed from general availability.

Because the reserved seat may prevent another candidate from registering, candidates are advised to carefully review the course details before making payment.

2. Cancellation by Candidate

Once a booking has been successfully confirmed:

The booking is non-cancellable and non-refundable.

Fees paid for a confirmed course booking will generally not be refunded if the candidate:

  • changes their mind;
  • is unable to attend;
  • has a change in personal circumstances;
  • has travel or accommodation issues;
  • has work or other commitments;
  • arrives late or leaves the course early; or
  • fails to attend the course.

3. Change of Course Date

A confirmed booking for a particular course date cannot ordinarily be transferred or postponed to another date.

Any exception may be considered only at the discretion of KIOC Coach Education Centre and will depend on availability and the circumstances involved.

4. Transfer to Another Candidate

A confirmed booking cannot be transferred to another person without prior written approval from KIOC Coach Education Centre.

5. Cancellation or Postponement by KIOC

In exceptional circumstances, KIOC Coach Education Centre may need to postpone or cancel a course.

Examples may include:

  • tutor or faculty unavailability;
  • venue or facility problems;
  • insufficient registrations;
  • government restrictions;
  • natural disasters;
  • technical or operational issues; or
  • circumstances beyond the reasonable control of KIOC Coach Education Centre.

In such circumstances, KIOC Coach Education Centre may offer an alternative course date or another appropriate solution.

6. Refunds Due to Course Cancellation

If KIOC Coach Education Centre cancels a course and does not provide an alternative course date or another mutually agreed solution, any eligible refund will be communicated to affected candidates.

Refund processing may require reasonable processing time depending on the payment method and payment gateway.

7. Failed or Unsuccessful Transactions

If money has been debited from a candidate’s bank account but the payment is not successfully received or recorded by KIOC Coach Education Centre, the candidate should contact us with the transaction details.

The transaction may be verified with the relevant payment gateway or financial institution before any eligible refund or payment reconciliation is processed.

8. Duplicate Payments

If a candidate accidentally makes more than one successful payment for the same registration, the candidate should notify KIOC Coach Education Centre as soon as possible.

After verification, any eligible duplicate payment may be refunded through the applicable payment method.

9. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, it will ordinarily be processed through the original payment method or another appropriate method determined by KIOC Coach Education Centre/payment service provider.

The time taken for the amount to appear in the candidate’s account may depend on the payment gateway and the candidate’s bank.

10. No Refund for Non-Completion

Payment of course fees does not guarantee successful completion or certification.

No refund will ordinarily be provided because a candidate:

  • fails an assessment;
  • does not complete required activities;
  • does not satisfy attendance requirements;
  • does not meet eligibility requirements after registration; or
  • does not receive a certificate due to failure to fulfil course requirements.
